Mercy is not impressed by Jason’s plans for the future, and Phillip causes concern for Mercy regarding her dress when feathers give Phillip inspiration.

Shireen words her fears – and expresses them towards Alison. Jason wants to work on his relationship with Spook.

Edmund realises that Soebatskloof has bigger problems than what he imagined. Junior and Octavia have a huge falling out – and she makes a decision that has a bigger affect on Junior than what he would like to acknowledge. At long last the matric farewell is taking place, and everyone on Soebatskloof is excited for the matriculants and their partners to celebrate this big night. Veronique discovers something about Elroy, and decides to confront him about it – but, unfortunately, they are not alone during their standoff.

Veronique does what any mother would do: she takes charge of CJ’s future – she needs to find out if any words were spoken that could contradict her plan. Spook arrests the guilty party, while everyone else from Soebatskloof congregates at the hospital to hear the latest developments.

Elroy’s loyalty is clearly not with Veronique, and Veronique has to dig deep to find words of encouragement that will inspire CJ…
